Your Birth Photography Proposal
Hello Kristy & Neil,
Thank you for reaching out to explore birth photography together. Your homebirth sounds like a beautifully, intimate experience for your family. These moments in time, this is the story of your growing family; this is your story of authentic motherhood. It would be an honor to photograph and be witness to the birth of your baby, so you have these moments, this story of you, captured on film to always cherish. Moments of strength & raw emotion, of love & support, of your baby & your girls, of you both together & motherhood unfolding.
When you choose to have me attend your birth, you are investing in years of experience as a documentary photographer of families, wild women & wild folk. Your investment also includes a prenatal consultation, being on call day/night from 37 weeks to 42 weeks, the length of your birth (from active labor until two hours post partum), a high-resolution digital gallery, and the option for more extensive prentatal and/or post-partum photography coverage.
Below you will find a series of packages for contracting my photography services. Birth Photography Packages
01. YOUR BIRTH STORY
Your Birth Story is the first package offering available. This package is the most extensive, as it includes a Wild Maternity, birth and a Fresh 48 photography session, documenting your journey from prenatal to post-partum.

Photography coverage for the length of your birth (from active labor to two hours post-partum)
On call day/night coverage from 37 - 42 weeks
A prenatal consultation to prepare our time together in ways that align with your vision
A high resolution edited digital gallery of your photographs
Two additional sessions
A Fresh 48 newborn photography session (this is an additional documentary lifestyle photography session where I return to photograph you, your baby & your family within the first 48 hours post-partum, to document your new life as a family of five)
A Wild Maternity photography session (this is an additional documentary portraiture photography session to document your essence & your beautiful growing baby belly)

02. YOUR BIRTH WEEK
Your Birth Week is the second package offering. This package offers a combination of sessions, including birth & a Fresh 48 photography session, documenting your journey from birth to post-partum.

04. YOUR BIRTH
Your Birth is the fourth package offering. This package is for birth photography exclusively, focused on documenting your powerful journey from active labor to newly post-partum.

Photography coverage for the length of your birth (from active labor to two hours post-partum)
On call day/night coverage from 37 - 42 weeks
A prenatal consultation to prepare our time together in ways that align with your vision
A high resolution edited digital gallery of your photographs
$1,250
$500 non-refundable deposit, balance due by 37 weeks, payment plans available
Please note that birth can occur outside of the on call window & also may progress from active labor to birth before I arrive. I will do my absolute best to be present at your birth anytime outside of the 37 - 42 week window, and as soon as I receive the call that active labor has begun. If for some reason, by way of the nature of birth, your birth is not able to be photographed, we will have discussed options in advance to either best document your immediate post partum experience, your newborn & lifestyle post partum experience, or a refunded balance.
It is an honor and a joy to photograph such sacred, intimate moments of birth, motherhood & families.
